This show smokes all other versions you will find. Unlike "The Eyes Of Night", this show is complete and not spliced together from other club days shows, and the sound is amazing. The date and location have been reported wrong for years. The show was played on Saturday May 29th, 1976 and not Sunday May 30th, 1976. The band plays an extremely energetic set, and even hint about hearing the day we would all hear their songs on the radio. -Original

This is a somewhat unique performance. According to legend, this performance was being recorded by Hilversum Radio for broadcast later when certain microphone malfunctioning forced Pink Floyd to perform an instrumental set. In consequence, the show was never broadcast. This is about 40 minutes of instrumental music. -Original

Led Zeppelin [1973.05.23] Rare Partial Show [SBD]

REPOST

It reads "RARE" partial show.

I don't use the word 'rare' ever when it comes to digital music. There's just no such thing any longer.

I am calling this 'rare' because in this case these five songs have not been circulating.   ...yup!

These tracks are the only ones that have made it out to the Led Zeppelin collectors thus far as of 2016.04.23.
There are rumors of a recording of the complete show in the hands of a taper who seems to want to keep it to him/herself for now.
I am not sure about this story; but if it is true let's hope the recording sees the light of day soon. ...yup!

First show of the tour. One hell of a show with a nice mix of new songs, the usuals and a few surprises.  I recorded from Ed's side of the stage.  Section 104 row EE.
It's the last row of the section, but that didn't stop people from congregating in the walkway behind me.  It's a solid recording overall with only a little crowd noise at a few spots.
TAPERS BEWARE:  I was expecting them to come on at 9:00, and they hit the stage a few minutes early with the house lights still on and without warning. I was already rolling, so nothing was missed. -Original

Retro Rock was produced by the Clayton Webster Corporation out of St. Louis.  The show format was rebroadcasts of live concerts and artist profile/interview specials.  Occasionally they blended the formats and mixed unreleased live songs with studio cuts and interviews.  That's the format for this two part special by the Police.

The first hour is almost all unreleased live music from different concerts.  I managed to identify two of the songs as from the Bottom Line show of April 1979.  The version I have of the Bottom Line show was mastered by Mr. David Hussey and has a patched version of "Roxanne."  This Retro Rock show has a complete version of the song, without the break or the patch.

The second hour shifts to more studio material, but has one song that should be of note to Police completists.  In 1980, the Police released a single of "De Doo Doo Doo, De Da Da Da" with a Spanish version on one side and a Japanese version on the flip. Each side was the full version of the song with three verses and choruses in the respective language.  This rare single was left off "Message in a Box: The Complete Recordings" (which is, of course, not "complete").

There's a unique English/Spanish/Japanese edit of "De Doo Doo Doo, De Da Da Da" on this Retro Rock show with a verse/chorus in each of the three languages.  Presumably they edited the three different versions together from the released versions.  I've been unable to track down any evidence that this edit was ever commercially distributed. -Original

It's nothing but the entire BBC performance in 1970. I do not know why they mistook the date, and they were so mysterious about that and about the place. In fact the only reference is in the title 'Live in London 1971' (wrong, it was 1970). The sound is great, comparable to an official release. In a certain way this is the case, because it's the first number of an encyclopaedia about '60-'70 artists Roio, called (traslating from Italian) 'Rock Dictionary, Myths of Yesterday and Today'. At the time it was possible buying it at any bookstall, and it was twice published, immediatly hard to find. -PELLE - pf-roio.de -Original

Fantastic bootleg.
It is actually from the BBC Playhouse Theatre recording of 16th September 1970.
As such, it's one of the best versions of this gig, sound is perfect (apparently this used to be on general sale in Italy for a while). Ignore the rubbish on the covers, great bootleg. -BootlegZone.com

Pink Floyd - Have You Got 'Have You Got It Yet' Yet [SBD]

Pink Floyd
Have You Got 'Have You Got It Yet?' Yet?
Live / Studio Demos / Outtakes / Sessions
Soundboard Recordings
Encoded: 320 Kbps MP3

Track List: (Artwork Included)
Disc 1:
01 - Astronomy Domine (Oops Mix)
As in The Piper, no compilation should avoid this subject like opening. This is an analog mixing, and the differences are the original patents. The issue is less produced, more direct sound.
02 - Lucy Leave
03 - King Bee
The first session of Pink Floyd. 1966.
04 - Interstellar Overdrive (Demo)
Used for the short, almost music video, called San Francisco, 1968. The first recorded version of the theme.
05 - Lanky, Part II
Along with Lanky, Part I and Rhamadam, forms the trio improvisations that marked the first solo recordings Syd. Only this fragment has been leaked.
06 - Scream Thy Last (07Aug67 Jenner 1974 mix)
Along with Vegetable Man, one of the still unedited gems. Great sound quality. Recorded in November 1967. Peter Jenner at the controls.
07 - [LP Radio Relics ad]
We love Relics. This is the radio ad (short version) to promote the album.
08 - The Gnome (BBC) *
In live for the BBC.
09 - Love You - Take II / Decision II, slow.

Disc 2:
10 - [Ytpme Sescaps (Hidden Msg on 'The Wall') 1979]
Listen Empty Spaces of The Wall carefully. You will hear a recorded voice back. Roger Waters is sending a confusing message, which refers to Syd Barrett, old pink. Or at least that's what they say.
11 - Dark Globe - Choral Version
Dark Globe with choruses sung by Syd.
12 - Fragment
Something recorded in the enigmatic sessions 1974. The question is ... Fragment of what?
13 - See Emily Play (acetate)
Provisional recorded on acetate mixture See Emily Play. Important here, the last seconds, which did not appear in the version that was released. Thanks, Richard Wright! Enigmatic end.
14 - [See Emily Play at 16rpm]
It is recorded loop, to appreciate better in one play. Interesting...
15 - PowRTocH (Look of the Week) *
Hans Keller's interview in Look of the Week Pink Floyd in this program should have passed into history. During the program they performed live Astronomy Domine. This is a short version of PowRTocH that served as an introduction to this issue in May 1967.
16 - Vegetable Man
Recorded in November 1967. The experts see it as a self -description Syd. Inédita still inexplicably.
17 - Long Gone - Take II
Taking Long Gone II. For some, higher than the first, which was used in The Madcap Laughs.
18 - Let's Split
Identical to the version of Opel, except that in this version has deleted the part that passes Syd leaves the letters and mutters something. Sin for purists!
19 - Late Night, Take 2
One of the many jewels Have You Got It Yet ?. The guitar track Late Night. No more no less.
20 - [Scream Thy Last Scream (Excerpt at 16rpm)]
If you have paid attention to this issue, you've heard voices more revolutions. Here they appear in the original speed ... And Syd!
21 - soesimoD
Dominoes guitar was recorded back. How it would sound as recorded?
22 - My Little Red Book (riff)
Peter Jenner hummed the riff of this song recorded by Love, and whose author is Burt Bacharach. Syd, inspired became the powerful riff of Interstellar Overdirve.
23 - Fast Boogie
Peter Jenner again. He was responsible for carrying Syd his last recording session. The recorded tracks were discarded for any type of release. It was 1974. Fast Boogie can be more normal.
24 - The Wondermits - Arnold Layne
Have You Got It Yet? It includes versions of other artists. The Wondermits became today in the right hand of Brian Wilson.
25 - Stanley The Simpleton
You do not have to do anything at all with what Syd intervene. It is a matter of authorship and anonymous interpretation distributed in the nineties by the network under the name Pink Floyd, and has become a favorite of fans of Syd, who aware of counterfeiting, consider a theme that his style and subject matter, could have been part of the Piper.
26 - This Mortal Coil - Late Night
Perhaps the best version by another artist Syd a theme. True to the spirit of the song, different sound.
27 - 'That Was OK'
1974. sessions should have been called 'I think it was OK', with a very convinced of that Syd
28 - Roger Waters on Have You Got It Yet
Have not belongs to You Got It Yet ?. Roger Waters has the pre-trial recording ever made of Have You Got It Yet ?

It sold out quickly, and the label allowed the FM broadcast). This is the master copy. You’ll hear the phone line interference at times (the FM station was in Council Bluffs, Iowa, across the river from Omaha).

This tour was represented on record with the Concerto live album, released in 2001. (It was originally released as Concert Classics in 1979 without the final two tracks.) It was recorded in Denver, Colorado on April 12, 1979. The double album includes two bonus tracks which were recorded from the Oakland Auditorium California on April 4, 1979 - Mother Of Pearl and Editions Of You. -Original
